Her film installations and events use ritual patterns to draw the viewer into a contemplation of place, presence and the human and inhuman rhythms that influence our experiences of places we inhabit.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth has exhibited widely in the UK, and internationally in Ireland, Poland, USA, Spain and Quebec. Projects include\u00a0<em>sleepers<\/em> 2006, film and public art project, Cardigan; <em>Vigil <\/em>2009, a video installation about Strumble Head lighthouse, <em>Chwarel<\/em> 2010, a video installation exploring the disused quarries at Porthgain, Pembrokeshire and\u00a0<em>Partus\u00a0<\/em>2015<span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0a collaboration with electronic composer and sound designer Andy Wheddon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ruth has taught widely in Universities in England, Ireland and Wales including University of Ulster, Belfast, University of West of England, Bristol, and University of Glamorgan, Cardiff.
